COURSE BOOKINGS

Your booking is made and secured by a 50% deposit – payment of the remaining balance will invoiced and payment due prior to commencement of the course.

Course Cancellations & Refunds

Your deposit may be refunded, in-full if the cancellation is no less than 45 days before the course start date.

After this time, should you need to change your plans, a transfer to another date may be possible if we have a suitable alternative available. A refund of your deposit may be offered provided we can fill your booking with another person. This is not guaranteed.

A cancellation or transfer to another date will not be possible within 14 days of the course start date. Your deposit will not be refunded, and you will be invoiced for the remaining balance.

In the unlikely event that Brendan Hesmondhalgh Sculpture has to cancel a course, alternative dates will be offered in the first instance, if this is not suitable then full refund for all course fees paid will be provided.

Brendan Hesmondhalgh Sculpture are not responsible for refund or reimbursement of any additional costs or expenses including and not limited to transport or accommodation.

In the event of an act of god causes cancellation, then a full refund for the course booking will be offered or alternative dates.

International shipping

The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the purchaser or third-party exporter.

Customs offices in some countries may require the importer of record to provide identification before releasing the shipment. 

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. 

About Freight Forwarders and Hand Carry

Using a freight forwarder to ship or hand-carrying items internationally may result in complications not covered by Brendan Hesmondhalgh Sculpture.

If a freight forwarder or hand-carrying is used, Brendan Hesmondhalgh Sculpture won’t be responsible for damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods after it is has been collected from the packaging / crating company in the United Kingdom. This means that Brendan Hesmondhalgh sculpture cannot provide a replacement of, or refund for, any such goods delivered to you or a freight forwarder. You should refuse goods that arrive damaged and instruct freight forwarders to do the same, and goods lost or damaged after being received by you or the freight forwarder will be your responsibility as the purchaser or third-party exporter.

It is the purchasers or third-party exporter who is responsible for insuring the value of the goods and shipment costs. It is the purchaser or third-party exporter to make sure any insurance cover, adequately covers the product being shipped internationally.

All our products are professionally crated and packed, we recommend any pre – inspection of packaging pre shipment.

Terms & Conditions

Those items for shipment to countries outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (“Import Fees”). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees, the clearance of merchandise, and the process and remittal of the actual Import Fees for such items.

To obtain details regarding the Actual Import Fees, or to obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance, you may contact the Designated Carrier specified in your shipment confirmation.

Limitations

For products shipped internationally, please note that you are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Brendan Hesmondhalgh Sculpture the recipient or third -party exporter is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs.
