Clay Sculpting Masterclass
“Brendan asked a why I return year after year. I could come up a whole page of reasons but here are just a few:
Focus – whatever the length of the course chosen you get the chance to completely immerse yourself in working on your “masterpiece(s)”. Drinks and food appear on a regular basis to keep up your strength!
Progress – you will be supported and challenged in equal measure. Brendan’s demonstrations cover different techniques and ways of working and he and Tim work together well to provide individual tuition and guidance, with an emphasis on keeping the freshness of the clay.
Flexibility – there’s no insistence on producing one refined piece – make several studies if you want, change your mind several times, have another go – as long as you are learning.
Environment – not just the physical surroundings of the amazing mill, nor the stunning local landscape but also the learning environment Brendan has created. Everything you need is there – research resources, tools, great quality clay, expert tuition all mixed up with a healthy dose of fun!
Actually I’ll stop promoting the course now – if too many people sign up I might not get a place next year!”
